20.1 An employee shall for every completed year of service with the employer be entitled to four weeks' leave with pay. For the purpose of this subclause with pay means the amount of wage the employee would have received in respect of the ordinary time which the employee would have worked had the employee not been on leave during the relevant period, provided that before going on annual leave each employee, in addition to the amount of payment for the period of annual leave due under this subclause shall be paid a loading of 17.5%. 20.2 In the event of the employee leaving or being discharged before a completed year of service the employee shall be paid an amount equal to 1/13th of the pay earned for ordinary time for the period of service. 20.3 The annual leave shall be given and taken in a continuous period of four weeks. By agreement, the annual leave may be taken in two or more continuous periods provided that one of the periods is of at least two weeks’ duration. 20.4 Annual leave shall be given at a time fixed by the employer within a period not exceeding six months from the date when the right to annual leave accrued and after not less than two weeks' notice to the employee. |
