The Fair Work Commission has advised of the decision issued by the Expert Panel in the Annual Wage Review 2015/16 resulting in an increase to the minimum wage effective 1 JULY 2016.

ALLOWANCES FOR EMPLOYEES
Allowances for employees are provided for under clause 14 of the Horse & Greyhound Training Award 2010 (HGTA). These include allowances relating to racecourse attendance, meals, boots, caps and vests.

SUPERANNUATION REMAINS AT 9.5%
ATA Members are advised that Superannuation (SGL) will remain at 9.5% from 1 July 2016.
ATA Members are reminded that the SuperStream legislation applies from 1 July 2016 for ALL employers with superannuation obligations.
