Racing Victoria Limited (RVL) is proud to host the 2009 Thoroughbred Employee of the Year Awards.
Nominations for these awards opened on Friday 4 December 2009 and we urge all trainers, to nominate staff who have made an exceptional contribution to the running of their business.
Trainers are invited to nominate any employees who show excellence in the following categories:
FULL TIME STABLE EMPLOYEE
> Works at least 35 hours per week for the same stable
PART TIME STABLE EMPLOYEE
> Works no more than 30 hours a week on average for any one stable
TRACK RIDER
> Employed solely to ride track work
STUD HAND
> Employed either part time or full time in the breeding industry
NEW STAFF MEMBER
> Employed for less that one year in the racing or breeding industry
THROUGHBRED EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
> To be chosen from the winners of the above 5 (five) categories

Nominations must be received at RVL by the closing date of Wednesday 20 January 2010.
The finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges which will consist of representatives from RVL and the Thoroughbred racing community.
The award winners will be announced at the Moonee Valley Night Cup in the Celebrity Room from 7pm - 7.30pm on Friday night 26 February 2010.
