Racing Victoria (RV) is again proud to present the annual Victorian Thoroughbred Employee of the Year Awards in conjunction with major sponsor, TABCORP
Nominations for the awards are now open and anyone associated with a stable or a breeding operation are encouraged to nominate staff who have made an exceptional contribution to their employer.
Many stable and stud employees are the unsung heroes of racing operations and these awards provide a wonderful opportunity to recognise thoroughbred employees' hard work, skill and dedication. All stable and stud employees are eligible to be nominated for one of the award categories.
The winner of each category will receive $1000. Category winners then go in the running to win the overall Victorian Employee of the Year Award, receiving a trophy and an additional $5000.
The finalists will be chosen from a panel of judges which consist of representatives from the Thoroughbred Racing Community and Racing Victoria.
The award winners will be announced at a presentation at the Moonee Valley Racecourse in Silks function room on Saturday 25th August 2012.
Nominations close Saturday 30th June 2012.
