ARB Chief Executive Resigns to take up Role with HKJC / National / 01 May, 2012

The Australian Racing Board Chief Executive, Andrew Harding, has announced his intention to leave the ARB.

Mr Harding will end his period with the Australian Racing Board in July this year.

Harding’s resignation follows former chairman Bob Bentley’s resignation last month.

On 1st August, Harding will take up a new role as The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Director of Racing Development.

Mr Harding said that his tenure as Australian Racing Board Chief Executive had given him great professional fulfilment and that it was only the rare opportunity and potential of the new role which had persuaded him to leave.

A national search for a replacement to Mr Harding will commence in due course.
