The 50 Years celebration for the Australian Trainers’ Association (ATA) is heading to Queensland!
The ATA has themed race events scheduled at the following:
- 23 August @ Gold Coast Turf Club
- 20 September @ Sunshine Coast Turf Club
- 4 October @ Brisbane Racing Club at Doomben
Each venue will run an ATA Celebrates 50 Years Handicap. The ATA will also hold an on-course function, which members and their owners are invited to attend, to enjoy free finger-food and beverages.
Finally, and most importantly, each race will carry an ATA member’s only financial incentive. These bonuses apply in addition to standard prizemoney as follows:

- Are payable ONLY to Trainers who satisfy the following criteria in its entirety:
a) Their runner(s) finish in positions 1 / 2 / 3 in the “ATA Celebrates 50 Years Handicap”;
b) (i) They are a financial Member of the ATA for the 2017/18 season; and (ii) Have been a financial Member of the ATA for the twelve (12) months prior to race date.
- Are payable ONLY to Trainers who satisfy the following criteria in its entirety:

- The incentives will be paid directly to the Trainers who earn same by either EFT or cheque.

- Payment to the Trainers will be made 30 days post race date.

- Incentives are $3,000 for 1st; $2,000 for 2nd; $1,000 for 3rd.
