The ATA recently sent members a copy of correspondence from the AWU advising of spot inspections of stables to monitor compliance with the Horse Training Industry Award and superannuation requirements.
Members' were advised to check and ensure compliance with the Award and it's various requirements and are advised to contact the ATA if they are uncertain of any aspects of paying correct wages or superannuation for employees, which is compulsory under law.
