Racing Victoria is offering a series of free workshops for licensed trainers focussed on developing skills for media interviews and finance management.
Media interview training will be conducted by Rob Gaylard who is a leading racing media presenter with over 20 years experience as television journalist and sports presenter. He has been operating his media and communication training company for over 12 years delivering bespoke solutions to the private and business sectors. Rob also hosts conferences both locally and overseas as well as being a television presenter and commentator.
Finance management focuses on cash flow and debt management and collection for the thoroughbred trainer. Participants will acquire skills and tools that they can implement in their own business.
These workshops will be practical and interactive and have been specifically developed for horse trainers.
All sessions will be conducted at Racing Victoria in the Apprentice Jockey Training Centre from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and afternoon tea will be provided. Session dates are as follows :
