The Australian Racing Board has advised that effective from 1 September 2009, all trainers will be required to keep accurate records of treatments administered to racehorses in their care (AR.178F).
These records must be retained for at least twelve (12) months and be produced if requested by the Stewards.

Many trainers may already have a "daily diary" type recording system in place. Alternatively, a suggested format can be accessed by clicking here.
