PLEASE NOTE - Scratchings lodged via Stable Assist will shortly cease to go into a "Pending Phase" awaiting the approval of a RISA Service Centre Consultant.
Once lodged scratchings will automatically be finalised and will be released.
A new menu option "Lodge Scratchings" will be available to lodge scratchings instead of scratching horses through the "Acceptances" page.
This change impacts most significantly on scratchings lodged via Stable Assist outside the RISA Service Centre standard opening hours.
For example a scratching lodged after 4.00pm will no longer be finalised at 7am the following morning. Rather the scratching once lodged via Stable Assist will automatically be finalised, will be released and will be FINAL.
Under the Australian Rules of Racing, scratchings lodged for Northern Territory Race Meetings and Group 1 races require the approval of the Stewards, therefore scratchings lodged via Stable Assist for Northern Territory Race Meetings and Group 1 races will not be finalised immediately, they will remain in a ‘Pending Phase’ until approved by the responsible Steward.
Users of Stable Assist will be warned that the scratching will be finalised and will be final as part of the lodgement process.
This change will ensure changes to Race Fields will be updated and released to industry stakeholders in a more timely manner.
The removal of the "Pending Phase" is due for completion in early February 2012.
