Racing Victoria Limited has announced that the RVL Board will hold a special meeting to consider the incidents that have occurred in the jumps season to date and to consider the future of jumps racing in Victoria.
In particular, the RVL Board will be assessing the safety record of jumps racing and determining the prospects of whether it can continue within acceptable safety limits.
As part of its deliberations, the RVL Board has invited its Member Shareholders to make a written submission on this matter.

Should you wish to do so, please forward your written submission to Mr Mark Close (RVL Company Secretary) via email m.close@racingvictoria.net.au and the Minister for Racing, The Hon Rob Hulls rob.hulls@parliament.vic.gov.au by no later than 5.00pm Tuesday 12 May.
