Support for TAS Businesses affected by floods

The Australian Government has announced a range of grants and payments available to people impacted by severe weather and flooding in 2022.

TAS Trainers affected by the Tasmanian Floods, October 2022 may be able to access lump sum payments and ongoing, short term allowances to help. You may be eligible for one or more of these -

Disaster Recovery Payments a lump sum payment to help people seriously affected by the Tasmanian floods in October 2022.

Disaster Recovery Allowance for lost income as a direct result of the October 2022 floods.

There is also support for eligible New Zealanders adversely affected by the Tasmanian floods starting in October 2022, check eligibility for the New Zealand Disaster Recovery Payment and the New Zealand Disaster Recovery Allowance.

You have until 17 April 2023 to make a claim.
