The Office of the Racing Integrity Commissioner (ORIC) is conducting a survey of racing industry participants for 2017. As the ORIC directly influences our organisation’s operations and the integrity of the racing industry, we strongly encourage you to complete the survey. For the past six years, ORIC has conducted the same survey with the general public, but this year the Commissioner is keen to survey those who make up the Victorian Racing Industry across all the codes (Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhounds) in order to understand the industry’s views and compare those with the views of the general public.
The survey should only take around 5 to 10 minutesto complete, depending on your answers. If you are the member of more than one racing body, you may receive more than one email survey to complete. Please disregard any other emails. Only complete the one survey.
Information gathered will assist the ORIC in assessing and improving the industry’s integrity assurance practices and processes. Any changes to integrity practices implemented by the ORIC may impact on your experiences in the racing industry.
The survey will be open until Friday 19 May 2017, and we appreciate your assistance and cooperation in completing the survey as soon as possible.
The information you provide as part of this survey will be used for research purposes only, and results will not identify individual respondents. Participants’ details will not be made known to ORIC.
The Commissioner has undertaken to make the results of the survey known to the racing industry.
