Workcover Support Services Information Sessions

The ATA, with RV support, commences the roll out of their information sessions at our major training centre venues this week, covering three topics of vital importance to your business:

  • Workcover Support Services
  • Respectful Workplaces & Stable Wellbeing; and
  • Equine Welfare within a racing environment.

Given the subject matter has application to every stable in Victoria, it is essential that you – or at the very least, a senior stable representative – attends one of the sessions.

  • Financial subsides for premium costs paid for Workcover insurance;
  • Specialist support with pre-loss employment processes and post-loss workplace injury claims management;
  • Financial support for stable employees in the case of a serious racing related incident or injury;
  • Support via RV’s independent and confidential mental health and wellbeing service, Stableline, for stable employees and their immediate families;
  • Creating a respectful workplace by knowing your legal responsibilities and identifying and addressing inappropriate behaviour; and
