December is an important month for many Victorian race clubs as it gives them the opportunity to capitalise on the growing Christmas Party market.
All clubs staging twilight meetings were requested to provide a business plan outlining the expected attendance (both public and corporate) on the day and resultant club profitability forecasts.
The club business plans were provided to the ATA and VJA and were subsequently approved by both organisations. Racing Victoria will conduct a review of the above meetings to assess their overall success which will assist in future allocation of twilight times.
